報告題目：PDF Mirage: Content Masking Attack Against Information-Based Online Services

報告摘要：With the increasing number of security incidences, it is critical to protect the computer and networked systems that we are using nowadays. This talk introduces our recent discovery on the content masking attacks against information-based online service systems. We identified a new class of content masking attacks against the Adobe PDF standard, causing documents to appear to humans dissimilar to the underlying content extracted by information-based services.

報告人簡介：Yao Liu received her Ph.D in Computer Science from the North Carolina State University in 2012. She is currently an associate professor with the Computer Science and Engineering Department of the University of South Florida. Her research is related to computer and network security. She received NSF CAREER Award in 2016, USF Outstanding Faculty Award in 2016, and USF Faculty Outstanding Research Achievement Award in 2017. She was the recipient of Best Paper Award for the 7th IEEE International Conference on Mobile Ad-hoc and Sensor Systems (MASS '10). She served the program committees of a number of major conferences in security and networking fields, including ACM Conference on Computer and Communications Security (CCS), IEEE Conference on Computer Communications (INFOCOM), Network and Distributed Systems Security (NDSS), and IEEE Conference on Communications and Network Security (CNS). She is a senior member of IEEE.
